St Columba's College in Essendon has been educating girls since 1897. The Alumnae Coordinator, Gail, contacted me to photograph generations of families who have graduated or are currently enrolled at the College. I photographed six beautiful families of grandmothers, mothers, sisters, aunts and cousins.
All of the ladies were photogenic and the historical campus provided the perfect backdrop. Mother nature gave us abundant sunlight and thankfully, some clouds as well. A great shoot!
St Aloysius Catholic College in North Melbourne has new school uniforms. The Marketing Director, Jodi, contacted me wanting updated photos ASAP for a promotional postcard. I'm serious about the ASAP. She called on a Thursday and I was shooting on the Friday morning! I understand how marketing schedules have tight timelines so I was happy I could accommodate.
The creative brief was simple: groups of happy students, showcase the uniform, selective focus and negative space for messaging. Mission accomplished!
The girls were delightful to work with and it was wonderful to shoot in the newly renovated spaces in the College. You know you love your job when it doesn't feel like work. Here's some of my favorites.
